About Us
New Spica was born from the managerial experience of two companies, Gemica Srl and KMK Granit a.s , tha fused their competences.
G.E.M.I.C.A. S.r.l., founded in 1995 in the ceramic district of Civita Castellana, a national and international pole for the production of sanitary ware and tableware, boasts more than forty years of experience in the ceramic sector. Thanks to the director Ermanno Gagliardi and his father Vincenzo, Gemica is today a reference brand for Italian and foreign producers of sanitary ware, artistic ceramics, roof tiles and bricks. Gemica supplies raw materials and ancillary products through collaboration with world-class companies.
KMK GRANIT was founded in 1992. Since its origins, the company has specialized in mining and mineral processing. The company's main product is feldspar raw material, mainly intended for the ceramics sector. Since its creation, KMK GRANIT has carried out a complete modernization of its production facilities. The company supplies the local Czech market and export markets, especially Poland and Germany. On August 30, 2006, KMK GRANIT became a public limited company.
